Odessa resident David Halbert, 69, passed away on July 1, 2024. A celebration of his life will take place on July 7, 2024, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home Chapel. Born in Odessa on November 16, 1954, to JD and Juanita Halbert, David dedicated years of service to various companies, impacting many lives. He was a devoted Christian, husband, father, friend, and Gampy. David is survived by his wife Debra, children Matthew and Brittain, and grandchildren Coulson, Callan, William, and Hudson. Remembered for his kindness and generosity, David's memory will live on in the hearts of his loved ones. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to charitable organizations like St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Tunnel to Towers Foundation in his honor.
