Higher Grounds Coffee Shop, a local coffee shop located at 403 Andrews Hwy, is set to close its doors Oct. 5 after seven years of operation. The announcement was made in a letter signed by co-owner Robert Kirk and posted outside of the shop.
“I want to thank you for all your love and support over the past seven years," read the letter. "Y'all have been a joy to serve! Regrettably, we have come to the place where we are going to have to close the shop.
Higher Grounds Coffee Shop is co-founded by Robert and Debbie Kirk in 2017. The shop has been known for its faith-based mission and community involvement, which has made it a popular spot for church groups, friends, and local events.
Higher Grounds will continue to serve customers until its final day of operation.
