Jay Whitlow, host of The Catwalk Show podcast, said that featuring businesses on the podcast, especially by recording on-site, helps them gain visibility, with one guest's company being the top search result thanks to their episode. Whitlow was a guest on a recent episode of the Best of Midland Podcast.

“But just recently—and I think you guys were at one of the remotes we did at a local place in town—I think outside of the studio is valuable too,” said Whitlow on a recent edition of the Best of Midland Podcast. “Getting into, you know, we're not just going to interview you, who owns a restaurant; we're going to be in your restaurant. We're going to get people to come to your restaurant.”

“We had a guest on, and you know, he's starting a new business and everything and stuff,” Whitlow said. “Just recently, he reached out to me and he said, man, we just want to say thank you for that podcast, that episode that we were on because when people Google their company, our episode comes up 100% first.  People have found us because of that podcast show."

Whitlow, is the host of The Catwalk Show, a podcast focused on discussions with industry professionals, community leaders, and social entrepreneurs in Midland, and aims to provide informative and engaging content.
