Jay Whitlow, host of The Catwalk Show podcast, said it took him five years to find his place in the nonprofit sector, where he enjoys connecting people, a concept reflected in the podcast's name, which celebrates its one-year anniversary. Whitlow was a guest on a recent episode of the Best of Midland Podcast.

“Not always do things fall in your lap and go, oh, this is exactly what I'm supposed to do,” said Whitlow on a recent edition of the Best of Midland Podcast. “I had to work in that for probably five years to find that next space that I need to be in, and that was that—the nonprofit world of drilling, you know, water and stuff. Now that I'm in this space, I'm like, I like introducing people to people.”

“You can call it connecting; I mean, that's what a catwalk is,” Whitlow said. “It's a connector from one location to another. It's even part of the platform on an oil rig. It's a natural name for me to connect people. And so when we sat down to talk about this podcast, which we are a year and one week old today.”

Whitlow, is the host of The Catwalk Show, a podcast focused on discussions with industry professionals, community leaders, and social entrepreneurs in Midland, and aims to provide informative and engaging content.
