A local business center will have a portion of its fourth floor renovated, according to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).
One Community Centre will add new finishes and fixtures in existing halls and bathrooms in the common area of the fourth floor, according to TDLR. The $200,000 project will also include the construction of a handicap-accessible bathroom.
Woodland Hills, California-based Kaufman Properties, led by Property Manager Christina Tumbusch, is spearheading the project located at 500 W. Illinois Avenue under the subsidiary Kaufman Kittridge LP ET AL, according to TDLR. JM Drafting & Design, based in Midland, is the architect on record. The project is expected to begin on Sept. 3 and be completed by Oct. 4. Construction timelines regarding TDLR filings are subject to change.

According to Kaufman Properties' website, CEO Mark Kaufman has been in the real estate industry since 1984 and developed several townhome projects in the Los Angeles area. The company now focuses on acquiring medium-sized commercial properties in several states.
