Congressman August Pfluger (TX-11) issued a statement regarding Vice President Kamala Harris' recent policy shift on the construction of a southern border wall if she is elected President.

"For years, Vice President Kamala Harris has opposed building a southern border wall, claiming it was 'un-American.' The Biden-Harris Administration has allowed over 10 million illegal immigrants to enter our country— including known and suspected terrorists," Pfluger stated.

Pfluger also highlighted his previous invitation to Harris to visit a migrant holding facility in Midland amid allegations of abuse, sexual assault, and insufficient staffing, which he claims went unanswered. He criticized Harris for what he describes as enabling a border crisis over the past three years.

"This flip-flopping is simply a ploy to buy votes during an election year," Pfluger concluded.
