The Midland Chamber has announced that its members are invited to attend the Festival of Trees Sponsor Soirée on September 10 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Apex Club at 15 Smith Rd., Ste 2222.
According to an August 11 Facebook post by the chamber, the event will feature live music by Bo Zertuche, free appetizers, and a cash bar.
Attendees will also have an opportunity to learn how they can help support the 2nd Annual Festival of Trees on November 8-9 at the Bush Convention Center, benefiting the Adult Protective Services Advisory Board of the Permian Basin (APS).
APS board members will be present at the soirée to field questions, according to the post.
The non-profit organization is looking for event sponsors, tree donors, silent auction donors, monetary donations, and volunteers for the Festival of Trees.
According to APS’s website, the Festival of Trees serves as a fundraiser to help the organization provide services such as protecting elderly and disabled individuals from abuse, neglect, and exploitation.
There are five levels of sponsorship: green, red, blue, silver, and gold.
