Midland police seeks information on July hit and run

The Midland Police Department (MPD) is asking for the public’s help in connection with an alleged hit and run that occurred last month. MPD believes at least one person was involved in the incident on Florida Avenue that took place at 2:27 a.m. on July 13.

According to a Facebook post shared by police on August 8, camera footage of the incident has been made available.

Authorities allege that a pickup truck was traveling eastbound in the 1500 block of West Florida Avenue. The vehicle reportedly left the roadway and struck a building on the corner of West Florida Avenue and South Goode Street, causing damage.

The post said that the vehicle then fled the scene eastbound on West Florida Avenue.
