The Midland Chamber joined Holiday Inn Express Midland Loop 250 and Insignia Hospitality Group in cutting a ribbon to celebrate the full renovation of the lodge at 5309 W. Loop 250 North.

An August 1 Facebook post by the chamber stated that the facility was the first Holiday Inn Express to be built in the Tall City in 2006 and was Midland's lone Holiday Inn for a time.

According to the post, it has hosted travelers from all over the world, providing them with great comfort and hospitality.

The hotel's website indicated that the facility is ten miles from Midland International Air & Space Port (MAF) and ten minutes from Midland College (MC).

It offers amenities such as an outdoor pool, a fitness center, and a business center.

Headquartered in Midland, Insignia Hospitality Group describes itself on its website as a community-driven, self-sustaining hospitality management and development group.

The company boasts a portfolio that includes properties throughout the Permian Basin and the Houston area, as well as one in California.
