Sewell Family of Companies held a Groundbreaking Celebration on July 25 for its new automotive Midland campus. The firm will add a location at Avalon and Deauville Boulevard.
The campus will include auto showrooms for BMW, Buick, Cadillac, and GMC, along with service centers. The development will cover roughly 25 acres, and will feature an E.F. Outfitters store and Press Cafe, according to Ryan McFadden with Sewell Family of Companies.
Collin Sewell, President, led the groundbreaking ceremony with a large turnout of community partners. "My prayer for this project is that it not only enhances our ability to provide top-tier automotive services but also contributes to the local economy and community life. We look forward to welcoming everyone in 2026 and appreciate your prayers as we take this next step in our service to Midland," said Sewell.
Sewell has made significant acquisitions in recent years, purchasing three major dealerships. In 2017, the company acquired BMW of the Permian Basin off Highway 191, followed in 2019 by the Cadillac, Buick, and GMC store off Wall Street, and the Odessa Cadillac Store in 2020. Sewell Ford is the exclusive Cadillac dealership in the Permian Basin, according to the company.
