In this edition of "Adoptable Pet of the Week," introduced are two companions waiting for their “fur-ever” homes at the Midland Humane Coalition, Daisy and Jojo.
Daisy is a 6-year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix weighing around 42 pounds. Her life took a dramatic turn when she was rescued from Midland Animal Services just before she was to be euthanized. Despite her rough past, Daisy is a bundle of joy and affection.
Daisy is deaf, but that doesn’t stop her from enjoying life to the fullest. She loves cuddling and playing, and she's known for her occasional "conversations," even if they are one-sided. Daisy’s deafness only slightly affects her, as she might startle when surprised. However, her resilient spirit and beautiful smile reflect her happiness and zest for life. Daisy can be selective with her dog friends, but she is sure to bring immense joy to the right home.
Jojo is a 2-year-old female Black Lab mix, weighing 65 pounds. This playful pup loves working on her training and is quite adept at walking on a leash. Jojo's energetic nature and eagerness to learn make her a perfect fit for most homes.
While Jojo is great with people and enjoys playing, she is still working on her interactions with cats. Her playful spirit and enthusiasm for learning make her a delightful companion, ready to bring joy and excitement to her new family.
If you're considering adopting a pet, think about welcoming Daisy or Jojo into your home. Visit the Midland Humane Coalition to meet these two companions and explore the possibility of giving them a loving home.
