Local Starbucks slated for renovation

The Starbucks location at the intersection of Rankin Highway and Interstate 20 is slated for a makeover, according to a filing with a state regulatory agency.

The project is being led by Starbucks Project Manager Mike McGraw. According to an architectural barriers project filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, the $400,000 renovation project will include new partitions, toilet fixtures, equipment, and finishes within the 1,601 square-foot store.

McGraw has been a project manager for Starbucks since 2013 and was previously a construction project manager, according to his LinkedIn profile. He has over 20 years of experience in construction, operations, and procurement, along with successfully managing project scope, stakeholders, risks, and issues.

According to the filing, the project is expected to begin on Oct. 14 and be completed by Nov. 14, 2024. The store is run by Woodlands Hills, California-based Rampart Texas LLC, led by Jill Pulido. Design Forum Architects Inc., out of Miamisburg, Ohio are listed as the design firm for Starbucks renovation located at 2410 Rankin Highway.
