The Midland County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) has made an arrest in connection with an alleged post-Fourth of July aggravated robbery. On July 10, MCSO deputies apprehended Sajel Noel Gonzalez-Ward for the incident that occurred in the 8500 block of Farm-to-Market (FM) Road 307 in Midland County.
According to a July 15 Facebook post from the sheriff’s office, authorities identified Gonzalez-Ward and issued arrest warrants following an investigation.
The MCSO SWAT team, MCSO Drone Team, Criminal Investigation Division (CID) investigators, and MCSO Narcotics subsequently executed a search warrant in the 3400 block of SCR 1071, according to the post.
Authorities found Gonzalez-Ward leaving the area and arrested him.
Permian Basin CBS affiliate reported that Gonzalez-Ward is 26 years old.
The sheriff's office stated that the suspect was booked on charges of aggravated robbery and possession of a firearm by a felon when he was booked into the Midland County Central Detention Center.
