Right at Home is a provider of in-home care and assistance for seniors and adults with disabilities | Right at Home

Right at Home, a provider of in-home care and assistance for seniors and adults with disabilities, is seeking a new franchise owner in the Midland area to meet the growing demand for their services. The expansion into Midland comes as the community experiences a significant rise in the need for quality in-home care, driven by an aging population and increasing demand for health services.

Jennifer Chaney, Vice President of Franchise Development at Right at Home, discussed the growing demand for their services in Midland during an interview with Midland Times. "It's an open territory full of seniors and adults with disabilities that need care,” Chaney said. “In Midland’s specific market, there's a high demand for this type of care and level of service. We’re looking for a Right at Home franchise owner here in this area."

According to Chaney, Midland's aging population underscores the need for quality in-home care. "The Right at Home business model is in-home care and assistance for seniors and adults with disabilities, and with 32,000 seniors in the area, that's a lot of people who need and deserve care," said Chaney. "What couples with that is the baby boomer population – as people continue to age, that number will continue to grow substantially."

Right at Home offers support to its franchise owners to ensure they can meet local needs. "Every territory is different across the United States when it comes to referral sources and number of seniors and where our services will be the best fit," Chaney said. "Once you become a Right at Home franchise owner, you are assigned a project manager with an onboarding project manager that will help with the launch for Midland, and that includes training, education, and more. By taking a serious look at Midland’s market and the opportunities within that market, we help our franchise owners look at what's best for each particular market."

Chaney discussed the significance of skilled caregivers with Right at Home. “Without caregivers in the Right at Home business, you don't have a business,” said Chaney. “Caregivers are the heartbeat of our business. We understand that caregivers need to feel appreciated and valued and work within a positive work culture, so we do a lot for our caregivers in order to attract and retain them.”

Chaney said that Right at Home differs from similar companies through their franchising validation process. "The part where we stand out above others is the franchising validation part of the process,” she said. “I am so confident about this part of the process because our franchise owners are second to none on what their feedback is on being a franchise owner."

With 45 territories covered in Texas and increasing demand across the region, Right at Home is poised for expansion in Midland. The company has experienced significant growth, particularly following the pandemic, which heightened the need for in-home health services. Right at Home reported a 40% growth increase during this period, leading Chaney to be optimistic about future growth in Midland.
