American Safety Services celebrated the grand opening of its new training facility and fire service fleet on June 6. The expansion facility is located along Interstate 20 in West Texas.

The new facility will provide a range of safety and production needs for local communities, including safety and rescue equipment consulting, gas detection, training, fire extinguisher sales and service, First Aid, environmental remediation, water transfer, hydro excavation, vacuum kill trucks, hot oilers, well servicing units, and Roustabout crews.

Chief Strategy Officer Keith Stetler told Midland Times the new facility will include capacity to host multiple training classes simultaneously. The company has also introduced a mobile Fire Service Fleet, which will provide door-to-door servicing of fire extinguishers and safety equipment for local residents and businesses.

American Safety Services was founded by Kevin and Tiffany Hokett in New Mexico in 2000.  According to Stetler, the new facility is part of the company’s commitment to expand its product sales and safety services in West Texas.
