Fix West Texas reported this weekend that 210 animals were vaccinated and chipped during a drive-thru vaccine clinic on April 14. The clinic allowed animals to receive vaccines for parvo and distemper as well as microchips.

In response to the successful drive-thru vaccine, the City of Midland expressed appreciation for Fix West Texas' efforts. According to the report, the City of Midland is currently addressing a distemper issue at the shelter, making the vaccination clinic particularly timely and beneficial.

The news of the 210 animals being vaccinated and chipped was well received by the community, highlighting the importance of such initiatives in safeguarding animal health and well-being. The initiative was also highlighted on Fix West Texas's Facebook post.

Fix West Texas will be offering free DAPPV vaccinations for pets throughout the month of April, thanks to the support of Petco Love’s Vaccinated and Loved Campaign, along with FiNano and local donations. Pet owners can bring their pets to the clinic between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. on any of the following dates: April 15-17, 19-25, and 29-30.

Pay What You Can Afford walk-in forms are available at the clinic, allowing pet owners to vaccinate/microchip their pets in an accessible measure.
