Kevin Dawson, an influencer, author, and filmmaker, said the filming of "Write Me a Love Story" entailed extensive travel and diverse filming locations. Dawson was a guest on a recent episode of the Best of Midland Podcast.
“The idea for 'Write Me a Love Story,' a love letter to myself," said Dawson on a recent edition of the Best of Midland Podcast. “Nine days, 3600 miles, eight states, five different filming locations—we filmed all of that, literally got back a week ago from filming.”
“I remember getting to Kittyhawk, and my boss asked me, 'What was it like?" Dawson said, "I said, you know, funny enough, the outer banks in North Carolina are a lot like West Texas: sand where vegetation that shouldn't be there but is there, the only difference is the Atlantic Ocean on one side. And the wind—I thought Texas was windy—it was like non-stop wind for like 20 miles an hour constantly. I get to the Wright Brothers Memorial on Wednesday, Nov. 1st."
