At approximately 11:52 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, Midland Fire Department officials responded to a call of a fire in southeast Midland.
Upon arrival shortly before midnight in the 500 block of East Montgomery Avenue, firefighters approached an RV, fence and a house on fire, according to reports.
Midland Police Department officers evacuated the residences and remained on the scene to assist with traffic control.
Fire Department officials later stated there was damage to the house, a “mother-in-law” house, three or four cars along with exterior damage to the RV, a neighboring fence and exterior.
The American Red Cross is assisting 4 displaced residents.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
No injuries were reported.
