Midland Sheriff's Office DEA seize drugs, arrest suspects on North Terrell Street

Midland County Sheriff's Office SWAT team, DEA Task Force investigators, and U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency officers conducted a drug bust on North Terrell Street in Midland on Nov. 6.

The officials executed a search warrant on Monday in the 1100 block of North Terrell Street regarding illegal narcotics, said Midland County Sheriff's Office in a Facebook post.

In their investigation, authorities confiscated 600 grams of marijuana 4 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, two handguns, and approximately $2,000 in cash," according to a Facebook post from the Midland County Sheriff's Office.

Terrence Stanton, 31, and Jahlahni Edwards, 27 were apprehended during the operation. They were charged with possession of marijuana over 4 ounces in a Drug-Free Zone - a third-degree felony - and possession of a controlled substance penalty group 2 over 4 grams which is considered as a second-degree felony," the Midland County Sheriff's Office stated in another Facebook post.
