NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
In accordance with Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, as amended, notice is hereby given to the public that the Board of Directors of the Midland Spaceport Development Corporation will meet in regular session, open to the public, in the Midland City Hall basement conference room, 300 North Loraine, Midland, Texas at 10:30 am on Thursday, October 12, 2023. At such meeting, the Board of Directors may discuss, consider, and take action on any of the following items:
1. Call meeting to order.
2. Swearing in of Midland County Judge Terry Johnson as a Director of the Midland Spaceport Development Corporation.
3. Motion approving the minutes of the September 12, 2023, meeting of the Midland Spaceport Development Corporation.
4. Motion appointing the Finance Director of the City of Midland, Texas, as the assistant treasurer for the Midland Spaceport Development Corporation.
5. Motion appointing the City Secretary of the City of Midland, Texas, as the assistant secretary for the Midland Spaceport Development Corporation.
6. Discuss and consider the availability of funding for the Midland International Air & Space Port through the Spaceport Trust Fund and the Space Exploration and Aeronautics Research Fund.
7. Receive and discuss an update from the Chairman on AST & Science, LLC.
