City of Midland Personnel Appeals Board will meet Oct. 10.
Here is the agenda provided by the board:
In accordance with Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, as amended, notice is hereby given to the public that the Personnel Appeals Board of the City of Midland will hold a meeting in the Midland City Hall basement conference room, 300 North Loraine, Midland, Texas, at 1:00 p.m. on October 10, 2023. At such meeting, the Board will consider the following:
1. Call meeting to order.
2. Hold a hearing to consider the appeal of Angelica Marie Olivas regarding the termination of her employment with the City of Midland. Said hearing may be either open or closed to the public at the discretion of Angelica Marie Olivas.
3. Pursuant to Texas Government Code §551.101, the Personnel Appeals Board may hold an executive session that is closed to the public to discuss the following matters as permitted under the following Texas Government Code Section:
Section 551.074; Personnel Matters
Conduct deliberations regarding the evidence presented at the appeal hearing.
4. Consider a motion regarding the final decision of the Personnel Appeals Board in the above-referenced appeal.
