How high did Midland junior tennis player Cole Hendricks rank in Boys’ 12 bracket for singles points in week ending Sept. 3?

Cole Hendricks of Midland finished 22,974th in the United States Tennis Association’s Boys’ 12 bracket in the week ending Sept. 3.

They earned no points to finish the week with 48 single points.

Their ranking rose by 446 over the week before.

There are 55 USTA players from Midland across all age categories.

Players earn points per round in tournaments, winning higher points the further into a tournament they advance.

Jarett Cascino of New York Tennis Magazine says tennis is one of the most competitive youth sports.
