Be it remembered that at 1:32 p.m. a special meeting of the Midland County Commissioners Court was called to order in the Commissioners Courtroom, located at the Midland County Courthouse, 500 North Loraine Street, Midland, Texas. The following members were present:
Terry Johnson, County Judge;
Scott Ramsey, County Commissioner Precinct No. 1;
Robin Donnelly, County Commissioner Precinct No. 2;
Luis D. Sanchez, County Commissioner Precinct No. 3;
Randy Prude, County Commissioner Precinct No. 4

1. Discuss and take action on flooding on CR 1210 from I-20 to CR 120.
Presented by Commissioner Sanchez and Andrew Avis, Public Works Director. There is a long-term solution in place, however it will take several years. They discussed a plan to help the flooding situation now. Ruben Mata, Road and Bridge Administrator joined the conversation.
Motion to approve a contract with Reese Albert as an exemption to the competitive bidding requirements established by section 26.023 of the Texas Local Government Code pursuant to section 26.024 (a) (1) and (2) to address flooding on CR 1210 from I 20 to WCR 120.
