This is a decrease from the week before.

The largest donation was made by Ted Kerr, who contributed $250 to John Cornyn's campaign on Nov. 13.

The average donation amount in the week of Nov. 13 from Midland residents was $47.

Midland is an essential area for federal elections.

A Bureau of Economic Analysis report found Midland to be the 10th wealthiest metro area in the US, down from being ranked the second wealthiest metro area by the Bureau in 2012.

A report from Open Secrets, a non-profit tracking and analyzing political donations, found the top 10 percent of wealthy cities and counties in the US, such as Midland, donated over one-third of all political contributions in federal elections.
