Churro is a 1 year old male Shepherd Heeler Mix (about 50 lbs) mostly white with some light brown spots and patches. Churro was found recently by local law enforcement but never claimed by his owners. Churro is completely deaf and lacks peripheral vision according to our vet. He compensates well by using his only other sense of smell. He might bark when startled but otherwise not reactive to dogs. Churro is exceedingly friendly with people but lacks any formal training so he can be a bit wild. He needs to work on leash walking and other basic obedience. Churro is an active dog and would do well with an active family with a large space to run. (cats unknown)
