The Midland County Sheriff’s Office and the Midland County Library are hosing a Christmas drive-through parade on Dec. 19.
The parade, which will be stationary, will take place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., according to a press release from the county. The parade will be located at the Horseshoe parking lot.
Those who participate in the event will decorate vehicles or floats and will be responsible for the costs of their project. All designs must have a Christmas theme.
If residents wish to participate, they should fill out this form.
"Participants will line up along the edges of the parking lot. This will be open to anyone who wishes to decorate. Traffic will be restricted to one way. The entrance will be on Garfield, and the exit on the service road of the interstate," the county wrote in the press release. "We will abide by CDC recommendations since there will be no physical interactions between participants and spectators. Spectators will not be allowed to exit their vehicles. Participants will stay with their own group throughout the event to eliminate any exposure to COVID."
