You can be "off to see the Wizard" this fall in an exhibit at Midland's Centennial Library.

The exhibit will on display through December 19th. It's based on the 1939 film starring Judy Garland.

It was created by Miami Children's Museum and SPARKS in partnership with Warner Bros. It displays a number of items from the movie including Dorothy's ruby slippers. It's a family-friendly exhibit that takes people who've seen the movie through a walk down memory lane while teaching the younger generations about "courage, friendship, and the true meaning of home," the Midland Chamber of Commerce said in a news release.

Visitors will be able to meet the movie's staple characters including Scarecrow, the Cowardly Lion, and Tin Man. They can also take a walk through Munchkinland, Emerald City, and check out Gale Farm and Professor Marvel's wagon.

The exhibit will be open from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday, and have extended hours from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm Saturdays so people will have more time to check it out.  Visitors must wear masks while touring the exhibit, which will be cleaned several times daily to eliminate germs in an attempt to stop the spread of COVID-19.

Centennial Library is located at 2503 Loop 250 in Midland. More information on the exhibit and the library system can be found online on Midland County Public Libraries website, or by following @tallcitylibraries on Facebook, Instagram, and Youtube.
