Teammates on the Dallas Baptist University golf team have won their second Women's Four-Ball Championship, with 65-66 rounds for a 13-under-par.

Faith Delagarza of Midland and Amari Smith of McKinney have found a strategy to help them win, Texas Golf Association reported.

“It’s definitely nice because we’re already teammates,” Delagarza said.

The golfers finished with a final result of 131.

Hannah Harrison of Plano and Evelyn Arguelles of Dallas came in second and tied with Allie Bianchi and Megan Daleo. Both teams had a total 10-under-par 134.

In September, the 2020 Women's Senior Stroke Play will be held at Ridglea County Club in Fort Worth. The dates for the championship are Sept. 28 to Sept. 30, 2020.

The game was played on the Midland Country Club golf course, which was founded in 1927 as a nine-hole course. It had a $8.9 million renovation in 2015, which was finished in 2017 and now includes a 7.254 yard, par-72 championship course.
