Harold Hill, a fast-talking con man, plans to trick the people of River City, Iowa into starting a boys’ band by selling them the uniforms and instruments.
He vows to organize the band for the town despite the fact that he doesn’t know a trombone from a treble clef. His plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he comes face to face with Marian, the town librarian, who suspects Harold is not what he claims to be.
As Harold begins to develop feelings for Marian, he has to make a choice: skip town with the cash, or become a respectable citizen with Marian’s help. Filled with iconic, show-stopping musical numbers, The Music Man is a delight for audience members of all ages!
