MIDLAND ISD: San Jacinto Junior High students visit Midland Memorial Hospital

Christmas

Midland ISD made the following announcement on Dec.12:

San Jacinto Junior High students brought Christmas cheer to Midland Memorial Hospital by singing Christmas carols and giving patients gifts they crafted in teacher Candice Hicks' fine arts class. The good deed was done in memoriam of Charles "Tony" Testerment, a former SJ shop teacher who died from complications of kidney disease and with whom Hicks, who gave a kidney to her ailing father, formed a kinship.

Way to go, San Jacinto Junior High School, and thank you, Midland Memorial Hospital, for giving our students the opportunity to share their big hearts with the community!
